Lists of important people are always controversial. You can’t please everyone…. On this year’s list, the 25 most influential people in our sector include obvious figures such as Enrique Dans and the presidents of two associations of the sector, Victor Domingo and Miguel Pérez Subias. Other personalities like Sebastián Muriel of Red.es for his commitment to the Web and David Cierzo from the Ministry of Industry for his fight to bridge the digital gap, truly deserve it.
There are classic figures who should be there, such as Jesús Encinar and Antonio González Barros . But, as always, some have been left out, people like Carlos Blanco and Enrique Goñi of CAN for the work they are doing at First Tuesday and Caja Navarra for promoting entrepreneurs in Spain.
What truly struck me about the “El Mundo” list is the fairness in listing personalities from the competition such as Jesús del Rio of Prisacom or Mario Tascón of Dixired.
