As I already told you in my previous post, in Valladolid I began a new format of presentation 2.0. The audience chose the topics they wanted to hear about and I simply gave responses to what they requested.
In this video, you can watch it now. It is a work style that requires a speaker who is at ease with any of the topics that could be debated, who will have a speedy response to every question - no more than 3 minutes per answer - and who is capable of adapting the presentation to the audience’s tastes.
More and more, in an environment of individual choice in web navigation, it is difficult for me get used to the fact that dozens or hundreds of people find themselves in physical location ready to listen to a presentation that is, best case scenario, a repackaging of previous presentations where there are no concrete questions that the audience can lay on the table.
The act of holding it in a room limits the number of attendees to -optimistically- 100 people. But, as some have already suggested to me, you can use “Twitter” to prepare beforehand and, in just a couple hours before, have the entire program suited to the “audience’s tastes,” prepared to be adapted in every case to the needs of the attendees. It is more work for the speaker but much more beneficial for the listeners.
