One of the great advantages of the Internet is the quick business model change with low restructuring costs.  When you start an Internet business, as clear as the initial model is, you always have to go into depth on the variables or radical changes that, in constant contact with the client, you see as possible or even necessary.  Being focused, something highly demanded by investors, should not mean that you don’t look around you and, overall, that you don’t listen to what your clients are saying.
The first year of an Internet company must be intensely busy in constant contact with the client, studying their needs and learning what it is that they value most from your offer and what they are really looking for in your field.  You always receive surprises.
Therefore, it is important that the entire company is geared toward the client and knows daily the results of the conversations that you maintain with them.  In models that are already consolidated in other countries, the tendency is to forget this as you think that everything has already been invented in this field.  But even in this type of model there can be local improvements that the general models does not take into consideration and that can differentiate you from your possible competitors who simply copy the original model.
