Your pet's home in the web
Petuky is a Spanish company dedicated to online publicity, segmented marketing and social networking on the internet, which is aimed at the sector of pets. It is backed by DaD, and two of its advisers at a private level: Jorge Rubio and Ignacio Cerdeiras. Petuky’s sources of income are:
1)Social network, users can interact with each other, thereby increasing communication between them. The social network also increases communication between the end client and retailers, and providers
2)B2B purchasing hub (online and through the traditional channels): platform for online and offline orders, in which the sellers are the manufacturers and wholesalers, and the purchasers are retailers (veterinarians and specialized stores). To be affiliated with Petuky, retailers pay a monthly quota which allows them to access the best prices on the purchasing hub, appear in our directory and use the platform’s marketing tools.
It helps retailers to save time and money (% of discount related to basic prices).
We help manufacturers to promote their products.
3)Directory: of companies in the sector, which allows them to advertise using videos, photos, emailing, having their own social network, etc.
4)News/blog: Content of articles on topics that you should know when you have a pet.
Vision and strategy
With the capital invested by several investors, many of which are well-versed on the sector, we have developed the technology platform to create the necessary links that generate greater fluency in communication between retail providers and the end client, as well as also enabling social networking for pet lovers.
Petuky’s vision is to become the leading website in the world of pets.
We want to achieve this by combining 3 factors:
• Our knowledge of the pet sector.
• The use of a powerful technological tool.
• The integration of the different levels of the sector:
1) Pet owners, so that they participate in the social network by uploading photos of their pets, videos, and interacting with each other; but also, giving opinions on retailers, stores and veterinary clinics, and above all the suppliers’ products.
2) Retailers: so they can buy their products for cheaper with the purchasing hub, advertize in the directory, use the segmented marketing tools to gain more direct access to their clients, and place their orders in a faster and more convenient way on the website.
3) The manufacturers can advertise and launch marketing campaigns, aimed at both the retailer and the end client, through the powerful channel known as the internet.
