Synerquia - Effective personnel management

Synerquia was founded in 2007 creating a new concept for the online recruitment sector. Synerquia is a service that optimizes the online personnel selection processes, targeting all professionals and companies that need to employ personnel. The versatility of our Tools/Services is adaptable to companies with multiple selection processes and also for companies with only one selection process.

The key concepts of our platform are the multi-posting and the centralized candidates management; the combination of both provides important time and costs savings to our clients. The multiple distribution of job offers or the multi-posting enable us to publish a job offer simultaneously in numerous supports of diverse typology: generalist job boards, employment sections of classified adds, vertical job boards, professional blogs… with this variety of supports we can reach both active candidates and also inactive candidates but with a great professional potential.

As complementary services, Synerquia also offers to his clients visibility services and brand image support (customized offers, employment corporate websites…).

During these first months of commercialization of our services we have reach leading clients of the sector such as Randstad and Select (both with nearly 2,000 simultaneous job offers), and also small and medium size companies.

Vision and strategy

At the present time, we have clients such as Select’, Randstad (the second largest temporary recruiting agency in Spain and worldwide), with whom we have integrated functions via the Internet and we are their principle recruiting platform.

We are initiating a pilot program with Adecco (the leading temporary recruitment agency in Spain and the world), with the USG group (4th largest in Spain), SmartPeople, Unique and others, such as ProfessionalStaff and Alta Gestión, which are somewhat smaller in size.

We are in final negotiations (of a nearly eight month process) with a large business group regarding a project for the creation of an “own brand” channel that will be commercialized using our platform. This agreement will provide us with extensive coverage throughout the Spanish market and rapid growth which will allow us to concentrate the efforts of the company on the product and on internationalization.

The “own brand” project (which will remain confidential until its formal announcement online) will place us at a monthly break-even point. The 2007-2011 strategic plan created by Synerquia has as its principal objectives:

  • Achieve a client base of more than 1,100 clients with more than 90,000 job offers.
  • Manage more than 200 partners and more than 3,000,000 CVs submitted to our job offers.
  • Initiate operations in 5 European countries (including Spain): 1st France: Sept. 2008; 2nd Germany: Jan. 2009; 3rd Italy: April 2009 and 4th UK: Sept. 2009
  • To possess the technical capacity to offer the product to both high volume companies (temporary employment agencies, consultants in recruitment or outsourcing, large and medium sized companies) and to lower volume employers (companies directly hiring less than 100 workers and with low staff turnover rates).

Technological plan and R&D

To become the application leader in the area of on-line personnel selection in Europe, we foresee the development of a series of functionalities and applications that can be classified in three sections:

  • New functionalities for the users; search engine, own CMS, employer-candidate CRM, statistics modules, advances searches among CVs,…
  • New functionalities for management and distribution of information: creation of our own API’s, our own system for structuring information…
  • New functionalities for internationalization: duplication of systems structure, translation and adaptation of files, fine tuning of information handling tools…

Human Resources Plan

The personnel plan to allow Synerquia to carry out these projects and anticipated growth in customers and partners is foreseen to move from the 7.5 current employees at the end of 2007 to 16.5 employees at the end of 2008 and to 22.5 employees by the end of 2010…
